CaribbeanMedicine.com (formerly a Geocities site) was founded in 1999 by me, Asad Raza. It was originally started for a few friends who 
   were interested in attending a foreign medical school. It was soon realized that this website was very much needed by many others as  
   well.

   Today, CaribbeanMedicine.com is widely used, with tens of thousands of students taking advantage of the valuable information the site
   provides. I honestly never thought the response would be so profound.

   The goal of the website remains the same: to provide a step by step guide to anyone who is interested in studying medicine at a Caribbean
   medical school and then going to the United States to obtain a residency and later a license to practice medicine.

   I have gone through the entire process: I have attended and graduated from a Caribbean Medical school, completed the two years on the
   island, completed the two years of clinical rotations in the United States. I have passed the MCAT, USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2 CK, USMLE
   Step 2 CS, TOEFL, MCCEE, MCCQE Part 1 and USMLE Step 3.

   I received my ECFMG certificate and the H-1B Visa and I did my post-graduate (residency) training in the United States. I am now a fully 
   licensed, practicing physician in the U.S. I will live and practice as a physician in the United States permanently!
